Jack Burrell, the absolute worst elected official in Baldwin County will face Deb Hopkins. Jack facing a woman, how sweet it is. Jack the bully of women is now going to feel their wrath. Jack was also the major supporter of Sen. Pittman getting city debris removal contracts.
Kevin Boone, grandfather CATALYST has so many LLCโs that link him to developers, and good ole boys that it is obvious, his interest, is his personal gain. His opponent is Joshua Gammon a young man with Fairhope at heart, not LLCโs. Trade the old for the new.
Robert Brown, who fleeces his hometown, will face off against Howell Gibbens. Brown has a pending Attorney General Complaint and Ethics complaint lodged against him for using his office for personal gain. He is an avid supporter of developers, not citizens. A true blue CATALYST supporter.
These three councilmen have run rouge on the council for four years and have cost the city millions. Make no mistake if you want to escape the CATALYST good ole boys, the three Bโs need to go.
The Mayors race is a BP story in itself. First we have a candidate whoโs major claim to fame is that he worked for BP during the BP Oil Spill. He was involved in fraud investigation. However he knows nothing of the fraud that Fairhope Mayor Cant pulled off with his mistress of propaganda and Sen. Boom Boom Pittman.

The current workforce is far better off, since the three princess were fired. Sherryโs last job, in the last administration was running the rec center, she failed at that job and was transferred back to Mistress of Propaganda where she succeeded. Sherry is covered in BP oil. A vote for Sherry is a vote for Cant and her plan is to appoint Cant to a city position immediately, that my friends is taking Fairhope backwards.
What about Mayor Wilson what has she got to do with BP. First she stopped Jack Burrell and the Council from continuing to give State Senator boom boom Pittman preferred city contracts for debris removal.
Second she secured 18 million in BP restore act funds. These funds are being used for sewer upgrades that have been in need of repair for years.
Third is the 6.2 million dollar grant from BP for the Waterfront.

It was grandstanding, USING Joseph as a means to embarrass and humiliate Mayor Wilson. But, there were so many of us who could see through this drama. Joseph himself, was unaware that he told the tale when he said he called Mayor Kant to tell him he was resigning. Well, Kant was not your boss any longer. That seems to have been a theme. The couldnโt quit Kant.
They couldnโt be positive and accept change and work with their new boss. They would rather have seen Wilson fail so they cut off their noses to spit their faces. And drama is what they LOVE!!!!

The BP guy on a paddle board tried to get an ordinance passed for dogs to be allowed in restaurants. Even the worst council in Fairhope history refused to get on his paddle board for that. People are dying in Baldwin County, others have major health issues,TODAY, from BP chemicals and oil. BP ignored the fraud and threw money at everyone, as a solution. The BP paddle board guy has blown these issues aside. What about the hundreds of anchors and thousands of feet of chain cable and rope used to secure boom, that Pittman and Cant just cut free to remain in the bay.If you were in this area during the oil spill and experienced the financial and emotional hit Baldwin County and its citizens experienced, then you would NEVER vote for a BP guy with a paddle board.

To the Editor: Many of us here in Fairhope like to take our dogs to outdoor restaurants. Mr. Manelos was definitely not advocating for dogs INSIDE of restaurants. Venues such as Sunset Pointe with large outdoor dining spaces have always welcomed well-behaved dogs. Also, trying to tie Manelos to the oil spill is akin to saying that every single employee of the City of Fairhope, including Mayor Wilson, is dumping millions of gallons of sewage into the bay constantly. Surely you see the problem in trying to paint everyone with the same brush……just as there are certainly some who work for the City that hate seeing the Bay polluted with sewage, there are many who worked for BP, including Manelos, that were devastated by the oil spill. Also, I think our Mayor and City Council hired Pittman, not BP.
What I am saying is BP is “TOXIC” As far as the sewage that was the last mayor this Mayor has moved forward with see the Fairhope infrastructure plan which never existed before Mayor Wilson The paddle board guy should have run for council.
