SLAP IN THE FACE

SLAP IN THE FACE

Baldwin County citizens have just been slapped in the face. Want to know why Alabama is number one in corruption and the butt of jokes? It is because the judicial system stinks and people with power or money, WALK. “Slappin Mike” McMillian the newly elected Mayor of Spanish Fort, WALKED, NOT GUILTY. Forget the video, it was a figment of our imagination. Slappin Mike joins the Sean Connery Club. The Attorneys and Judge just slapped us in the face.

BALDWIN COUNTY

If you live in Baldwin County then you know that local news print is almost non existent. Citizens are at a disadvantage at knowing what the real truth is and politicians are fine with that. Community engagement or public participation is probably 1 to 3% of the population. Fact is, most councils, Fairhope for one, would be fine with no community engagement or public participation. If you would like to be a little more informed please check out Lagniappe.

CATALYST LAST STAND

Two of 5 council seats had no opposition, Place 3, Jimmy Conyers, the best one of the last council will serve 4 more years. Place 2, Cory Martin, the first African American to be elected to council, he had no opposition. Congratulations to both. That leaves the infamous three B’s, Burrell, Boone and Brown trying to convince everyone that they are better than slice bread. Each one of them has used his office for personal gain.

STEALING OUR DEMOCRACY

When elections are “fixed” you can be assured, politicians, any party, are STEALING OUR DEMOCRACY. Baldwin County is home to fixing elections, just ask former Governor Don Siegelman. Their are many ways to “FIX” elections. Years ago Judge Michelle Thompsson eliminated her competition by having the Baldwin County Republican Party, declaring her competition, not Republican enough. Baldwin County now suffers under her gavel. Let us not forget that the Baldwin County Sheriff, Hoss Mack, had the help of then Sen.

A DECADE OF CORRUPTION

Baldwin County is a cesspool of political and judicial corruption. In the last 10 years the citizens of Baldwin County, especially Fairhope, have been slapped in the face with blatant corruption. Complaints to the Attorney General do not even generate a response. The Judiciary, Bar and Ethics Commission have a repeated record of one paragraph responses dismissing any and all documented evidence. !0 years ago this week State Senator Tripp “Boom Boom” Pittman and Fairhope Mayor Tim Kant, using Fairhope Staff, Greg Mims, Sherry Sullivan and Jennifer Fidler, to name a few, secured a bid for $636,000.
