SCARY

Some really weird and scary things are going on in Fairhope. After the https://rippreport.com/ published the Oil “Slick”, seems the BP “good Vibes” guy on the paddle board, freaked out and forgot about his good vibes pledge. Some people have no sense of humor. https://rippreport.com/oil-slick/ Ole good vibes has now converted his Facebook page to a share only, no comments, to eliminate certain people that want to ask tough questions. He is also endorsing Jack Burrell, that is SCARY to say the least, for a Mayor candidate supporting a council person.

OIL “SLICK”

It defies logic that a former BP executive is going to lecture Fairhope citizens about contamination of the Mobile Bay. Are the citizens of Fairhope suppose to forget about the fact that he personally oversaw the BP “cleanup”? Is he that SLICK or is it his “good Vibes”? The BP guy on the paddle board seems to be living up to BP standards. He is blocking comments on his Facebook page.

CATALYST LAST STAND

Two of 5 council seats had no opposition, Place 3, Jimmy Conyers, the best one of the last council will serve 4 more years. Place 2, Cory Martin, the first African American to be elected to council, he had no opposition. Congratulations to both. That leaves the infamous three B’s, Burrell, Boone and Brown trying to convince everyone that they are better than slice bread. Each one of them has used his office for personal gain.

TRUTH

In response to Councilman Brown about his position on the Waterfront, https://www.facebook.com/groups/FairhopeNow/ http://www.gulfcoastnewstoday.com/stories/op-ed-positive-change-always-met-with-stubborn-opposition,95207 Leslie Callies Hollis This was my comment to Robert Brown weeks ago on this subject : Robert, you and many others may not like my comment. But I am going to say it anyway. The public bay front has evolved and seen many changes over the course of my lifetime- If I had time, I would lay out a timetable for you to see the changes and how they evolved for the public to enjoy.

CATALYST ASS WHOOPIN

Fairhope’s CATALYST group is licking their wounds after the election of Jerry Carl. What is important is the major shift in voting away from CATALYST candidates. Carl’s opponent “Lowtower” made a major mistake by hooking up with CATALYST, aka Scott Boone Consultant. A statistical analysis of the, district, First Congressional Seat, Jerry Carl, shows as much as a 2500 votes being shifted from CATALYST Lowtower to Carl. That is from the primary to the runoff.

FREAKY FAIRHOPE

After living in Fairhope for 25 years and spending 16 years of close observation of local politics, nothing surprises me. The corruption and white collar crime in Baldwin County is far worse than most people can comprehend. The political status quo resembles a criminal enterprise. Just for the record I personally think Fairhope is a fantastic community. The location is perfect and Fairhope has transportation hubs abound. Birmingham Atlanta and New Orleans can be reached with a 4 or 5 hour car ride.

A DECADE OF CORRUPTION

Baldwin County is a cesspool of political and judicial corruption. In the last 10 years the citizens of Baldwin County, especially Fairhope, have been slapped in the face with blatant corruption. Complaints to the Attorney General do not even generate a response. The Judiciary, Bar and Ethics Commission have a repeated record of one paragraph responses dismissing any and all documented evidence. !0 years ago this week State Senator Tripp “Boom Boom” Pittman and Fairhope Mayor Tim Kant, using Fairhope Staff, Greg Mims, Sherry Sullivan and Jennifer Fidler, to name a few, secured a bid for $636,000.

CATALYST SHIT CREEK

The Ripp Report has written about CATALYST for years. We have filed numerous complaints with the Attorney General involving political corruption and have received no reply. It seems that political corruption is not as important as the sewer violations. It is also interesting that all the complaints about Fly Creek and Publix were ignored by ADEM, Alabama Department of Environmental Management, aka Alabama Department of Environmental Maniacs, years ago. State files suit against city of Fairhope for sewage deficiencies - Lagniappe Mobile State files suit against city of Fairhope for sewage deficiencies - Lagniappe Mobile The Alabama Department of Environmental Management and Attorney General Steve Marshall filed suit against the city of Fairhope Friday, alleging it violated several permit requirements for reporting and discharging pollutants from its wastewater treatment plant for a five-year period between April 2015 and April 2020.

4-20

This day is significant for many reasons: Today is predicted to be the peak day for coronavirus in Alabama. To date Alabama has had 4792 cases resulting in 113 souls who lost their fight with the virus. The United States total is 770,564 cases and 41,114 loss of life. Worldwide 2,416,135 cases have been reported with 165,939 scumming to the disease. What is apparent is social distancing works and testing is necessary.

LEGAL CORRUPTION

Kyle Whitmire of Al.com has written a series of articles that most people in Alabama will not read. The sad truth is corruption is inbred in Alabama and our elected officials are more interested in special interests than their constituents. Baldwin County leads the list of the most corrupt counties in Alabama, Elected officials in Baldwin County do not fear the Ethics Commission, Attorney General of even the FBI.
