Statistics and data that would makes your head spin and yet there are people that still ignore basic health standards, some believe Covid is a hoax. Baldwin County Doctors and Nurses are advising the general public about masks, social distancing, and to avoid large public gatherings.

SEMPER FI / VETERANS DAY

November 10th is the Marine Corp Birthday and November 11th is Veterans Day. On these two days I always reflect on my fathers career in the Army, where he served during WW II and later retired as a Colonel. I think of my first cousin, Freddie, who was killed in Vietnam, while I was in Vietnam. His death impacted my extended family, who has dearly missed him this last 52 years.

M.I.A

I have been Missing In Action from social media since September 15th and it feels like a year. Right before the storm, I received news of my best friend’s grandson was killed on a motorcycle. Needless to say his daughter was as devastated as he was. While sitting there trying to comprehend the loss, I got a call from the father of a gentleman I was advocating for in a property dispute.

CATALYST MISSING IN ACTION

Last night Spanish Fort played Fairhope in football. The stands were full, social distancing was all but impossible. When one of the High School Principals was asked why most of those in attendance did not have masks? He explained that they tried to enforce the use of a mask, however once the people got seated they removed their masks. Another event across town was underway, the Fairhope political forum hosted by the Common Sense Campaign.

WEAR A MASK

Source: https://lagniappemobile.com/stop-being-selfish/ To the editor: This could be long — I hope it’s not inflammatory — it’s not meant to be. This is to all of the non-mask wearing and partying people out there. I am mad. I am worried. And I am scared. And you, who refuse to wear a mask, and congregate with your friends, are the reason!!! You are endangering my family. And my friends. And ME!
