Fairhope City Hall has leaks of confidential city information and HR information coming from certain city employees to Gulf Coast News. Congratulations on the news scoop, however your information is coming from unnamed sources or disgruntled employees.

Tracking software installed on 7 Fairhope employees’ computers

Software that tracks employee computer usage and key strokes was placed on the computers of at least seven City of Fairhope employees, allegedly at the direction of Mayor Karin Wilson. Those …

These are city computers and if these same computers were used to undermine the mayor on the city’s time and our dime, then they should be fired. If the same computers transmitted confidential city business to unauthorized persons then there should be some accountability.

Spyware is common and used in private and government sectors. The bottom line is that it is city property and the data contained.

Gulf Coast News coverage is lacking in details and soaring with innuendo. The articles all seem to be coordinated to come out at one time and certainly favor the old established status quo, GOB’s.

How much you want to bet that pornography and computer games were on certain computers? It always happens. If indeed the spyware exists then there is no telling what is on them other than city business. If the employee is using the city computers for personal business then how in the hell is it the city’s responsibility to protect your personal info? When the employee has no authority from the city to use the computer for personal use? You can watch all the porn you want and play those silly games until you are blue, AT HOME, not on the job, any job. They are going to hang themselves, watch!

The HR director, one in the same seeking 100,000 dollars for alleged assault has been observed playing games on her computer at numerous city meetings. Gotta watch throwing stones in a glass house.

Today the phrase “to open Pandora’s box” means to perform an action that may seem small or innocent, but that turns out to have severely detrimental and far-reaching negative consequences. Once open…

The coverage by Gulf Coast News, The Courier, is being influence by the likes of Catalyst and Jack Burrell, certain lawyers and judges as well as supported by county commissioners. Fairhope has been controlled by the GOB’s for over 40 years they are in panic mode. If they lose Fairhope they lose the county commission and the mid term elections will result in many elected officials defeated.

Most residents of Fairhope are viewed by the GOB’s as outsiders, not from here, or carpetbaggers, if we dare to question the old guard. The fact is that over 75% of the population has moved here, in the last 30 years, from “other” places, and it will be them who eventually wins out over the GOB mentality.

What irony that GOB’s own greed and corruption for unbridled development produced residents, that will now vote them out of office!

Fairhope tossed out the Mayor of 16 years and ever since the sounds of rat traps are going off all over Fairhope. It is not uncommon for the new administration to discover past deeds of employees and…

Apparently the Golf Coast News has uncovered that the software used was actually “MALWARE”. This is huge! The Golf Coast News is claiming that this software damages computers! Has anybody alerted the company? Surely the Golf Coast News understands the difference between Malware and Spyware!

“Gulf Coast News coverage is lacking in details and soaring with innuendo” HAHAHAHAHAHA! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Seriously, of all the blogs in the world to make that statement… lol that’s funny.

    • Anonymous | June 2, 2017 at 5:14 pm |

One is a blog, and one claims to practice legitimate journalism. Yet they report a standard practice of many organizations, as planting mal-ware. They took a non-story, and twisted it into something that sounds outrageous. They don’t do that to Jack. You also have supposedly journalists acting on the same level as a sensationalist blog. Good work!

Looks like the poor Mayor shot herself in the foot again, gotta give her credit for trying. Hey City employee’s, when you are on the clock, your employer has every right to know what you are doing…you are using their computer, same as if you are using a City owned vehicle.

    • Jester 666 | June 2, 2017 at 5:16 pm |

Indeed the city has a right to know what employees are doing on the job but you cannot target individuals, if it was installed on all computers then it is permissible. Even if it was installed on all computers it will come down to what the city’s policy states. AND did they inform all the employees of the new policy.

IF it was targeted, the mayor needs to resign because she has violated the federal criminal code, and if any attorney-client privileged communication, especially if the city clerk was communication with the city attorney was breached, any medical information, ecterta, etc., then someone is in deep poop! If a council member was discussing an issue the city clerk then this is really going to sting.

Here’s my prediction, the IT person that installed this program will cut a plea deal and then throw the mayor under the bus and the legal system will eat the mayor alive.

This is a case of altra vures, the insurance company will most likely not cover the mayor’s legal expenses. She’s done if this is true.

AND here is the kicker, any and all information obtain illegally will be ruled inadmissible in court, so her efforts may have cost her the job, and she could face criminal charges, and all the dirt she has uncovered will go back into the Pandora Box, all of it.

I have stated this before on here, she needed to have advisors that did not have a dog in this fight, was non-political and low key. I hate this for the city, the council, the mayor and more importantly, all of us that lives and works in this city – Carpetbaggers too!

Those that were advising her really did not care about this mayor, it was all about vendettas but she will have to answer for it.

I pray this all not true, I really do, we need to pray for this city.

I can still remember how that music used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And maybe they would be happy for a while…

      • Anonymous | June 2, 2017 at 5:32 pm |

I started to believe you until you said predict the IT person will cut a plea deal. Cut a plea deal for doing what? What is the IT person getting charged with?

Jester 666. Keep crawling on your belly as you have your entire like. You know nothing about being a good American citizen or a patriot! If you had. You have now officially loss that privilege. Post all you want. I just want to know that you have been called out and anyting you say from now own will not be supported by either side. Stand down!

                • Jester 666 | June 4, 2017 at 12:37 pm |

So the Jester has been called out, the Jester is laughing too hard, please! WOW! HAHAHAHEHEHAHA!

The only individuals on here being called out are the mayor’s supporters. The Ripp Report and his gypsies know the mayor did not have the skill set to run this city. You know this, the Jester knows this, and after the latest stunt she has pulled, now we all know this.

Her supporters will try and justify this latest stunt as being appropriate, they will deflect, try and blame it on the city council, the hard working employees or the GOBs. You can place your head in the sand, but the Jester’s eyes are wide open.

Here is a thought for most of you, if the mayor has installed spyware, and we have to assume the spyware was only installed on the 7 devices as reported, but it could have been installed on other devices like the email server. Or is she reading the emails off the server?

What happens if you emailed a council member, and as a citizen have a concern with the mayor’s strategic plan or other matters, and she is spying on those emails too. There would be nothing confidential within the city council, the council with the citizens, the council with the city attorney, among other issues. Why would anyone participate in city activities knowing that could be retaliated against.

The only person that can tell Jester to stand down is a much higher calling, no one else. If The Ripp Report wants to ‘band’ the Jester from posting, then he will silence someone that really is objective and see things for they really are! The Jester’s head on a swivel, always looking, listening and watching!

It seems the Jester has placed such a strain on the mayor’s supporters that it may be more than their souls can bear!

                  Strike Fast! Strike Hard!

I met a girl who sang the blues

Remember when I posted the mayor extended the olive branch for a reason, she knew something bad was coming and she was going to need to the council? She ate lunch and dinner with a few council members.

That was about the time she had the computers ‘tapped’, this mayor defines the term Dark Triad.

She could not leave things alone, she had to ruin hard working people lives, so now, the Jester has been unleashed to start dancing!

Those that know Jester, knows Jester’s abilities scares even the devil himself.

              Strike fast! Strike hard!

Oh, and while the Queen was looking down
The jester stole her thorny crown
              The courtroom was adjourned
              A verdict was returned

      • Anonymous | June 3, 2017 at 2:10 am |

Would you rather she fire them? Maybe she already tried.
Have you considered what it might be like to to be attacked from all sides? Probably not…
I think it’s time for people to stop pointing the finger and realize the real threats. The internal leak having a relationship with a local paper who should be reporting news not causing drama. relationship and council who do nothing but talk about the mayor. Very immature and unproductive

        • Anonymous | June 4, 2017 at 1:26 pm |

Should she not have fired them? She could have shown them her knowledge and led them. When a military officer comes into a new unit, he does fire his subordinate officers, they lead them and grow them to become better! The new commander doesn’t come it with regulations showing that their rank has power. You do have to pull rank if you are a leader, they follow you once you prove you are a leader! Most studies within the leadership community start with the traits of the military because military leaders have to lead in the most adverse conditions!

Once someone sees their leader as one that cares and wants to do things correctly, wants what is best for the unit, the mission, the people, the follower will follow. Threats, threats to leaders are opportunities, an opportunity to lead.

There would not have been any leaks if the mayor had conducted herself in a professional manner. When a new CEO comes into an office, they usually will replace some of their key people but over 12 – 16 month period, not within 60 days. When you lose long-term employees you lose institutional knowledge, no amount of money can replace this institutional knowledge – all CEO’s know this if they are a real CEOs! The city is a bureaucracy, she needs to read Weber’s Bureaucracy Theory, the strengths and weakness thereof. The ‘W’ in Weber is pronounced as a ‘V’. Weber is an Economist.

She could have done great things, but she came in pointing fingers, assuming others were all against her, and the manner in which she conducted business was out of line, having her sister come to employee meetings! Please!

She needed the council far more than the council needed her, but her lack of wisdom, her supporters, her advisor’s ill-advised advice (lol) and we all see where this has gone. If you are going to claim to be a politician then become one, compromise, realize you are not going to get everything you ask for, stop trying to be the Queen!

Has does someone negotiate without power? It is easy, but someone has to be intellectually curious, something this mayor is not interested in. In my humble opinion, she should resign the position, and learn from this experience. If you think it is bad now, it is going to get a lot worse over the next few years.

AS sad as this is, the GOBs beat her at her own game, they have won. IF she can humble herself to make a public apology to the council, especially to the president of the council for all the accusations she has made, she may, maybe, just maybe save herself. We are a forgiving people here in Alabama, but only if you profess your sins, sincerely apology for your deeds.

All this transparency is good for everyone else but does not seem to apply to her. You can not pick and choose what to be transparent about, either you are transparent, or you are not, you can not be a little bit shot in the foot, either you are shot in the foot or you are not!

The mayor and council are public figures, and therefore they are in the public preview, see one, see all!

If you are being attacked by all sides, you lead!

Did she try to create a position and hire her friend Lynn M. or not? Just tell us, instead of questioning the motives of those who made that PUBLIC –not anonymous–claim. Why keep your denial a secret?

The last refuge of the guilty: don’t deny the allegations but try to change the subject by blaming the people who revealed the behavior. (See: Hillary’s leaked emails, Trump aides’ leaked contacts with the Russians, Mayor Wilson’s treatment of HR Director and surreptitious spying on employees.)

Could anyone blame the Mayor’s accusers of wanting to remain anonymous, given her record of viciously retaliating against anyone who dares speak against her? She will have her day in court. But if she is not willing to respond to these allegations, she (and her surrogates, like you,Paul) should keep your mouths shut about those who make them.

Oh, and what happened to transparency? When she was elected, I gave the Mayor a lot of credit for insisting that all meetings be recorded. But now that these HR questions have surfaced, she cancelled the June 15th public HR meeting unilaterally, without first consulting other members of the committee.

    • Anonymous | June 2, 2017 at 5:59 pm |

Told you they were coming after Lynn next

    • Anonymous | June 2, 2017 at 10:15 pm |

I think that I have read that Lynn is a ‘supporter’ to whom Karin promised a $60,000/year ‘part time job’….Maser is supposed to about 65 years old…..what value could she provide to the city at that salary?
I wish that Karin Wilson would breathe a breath of fresh air and send Botop/Botox/Mosher family/ Lynn Maser to the trash bin. She has a real chance to help the city that she purports to love, but she has become the worst offender of political power that Fairhope has ever seen. Kant was more of a thief, but Karin (who I adored until I found out about Twinkle Toes) is even worse. She disgusts me! Burrell gave her the rope with which to hang herself when he told her that she could hire her uneducated high school graduate! We may not like Jack, but we have to hand it to him………he gave her the rope with which she hangs herself. The only question now is if Botox will resign to keep Wilson from her fate?

      • Anonymous | June 3, 2017 at 9:20 am |

The reason the mayor loves carpetbaggers is they are the only people that believe her Bull Poop. Those of us that grew up around here and know her, knew better than to vote for her!

I guess when you only have superficial friends, and you have this great need to be adored, then when you become mayor you give people jobs so you keep friends. Kant, he gave his family and friends that grew up in Fairhope jobs, not a bunch of loud mouth rude, slimy carpetbaggers, he took care of Fairhope!

Toto could resign tomorrow and that will not save the mayor, she is done. It is clear that those not from around here still do not understand how this works, you carpetbaggers just do not get it.

We all grew up around here, we are related to many, and those that we are related to are related through marriage to others, we go to church together, we have known each other all of our lives. And when someone harms hard working people from around here then all hell breaks loose.

While the mayor was born and raised here, she made herself an outsider. She never volunteered for the city, she doesn’t worship, all she has ever done is take from the city. Her friends are all superficial friends.

This mayor is over, done, it is over for her!

    Fairhope at its finest!

Did anyone see the picture of the mayor and Jimmy Cluster?

Here’s the mayor statement about Cluster “I was honored to present long-term city employee, Jimmy Cluster, a plaque of appreciation for his retirement commending thirty years of unselfish, dedicated service to the City of Fairhope.”

I told this is how Fairhope works, they will hug you, say oh, it is so good to see you, then state how much they hate the person they just hugged.

Let’s see how many people will stand next to the mayor, that picture on facebook of her winning the election, how many of those in the picture will be standing by her now!

Kant was dirty, and he was slick but at least he was not as dumb as this mayor!

  9. Anonymous | June 2, 2017 at 10:06 pm |

Baldwin County had 9,185 residents are carpetbaggers, 4.7 percent of its population. The GOB will rule for a while, if you can not beat them, join them! Ripp, come on over man, you know you want to, deep down in your soul you want to be one of us!

    • Anonymous | June 3, 2017 at 12:16 am |

4.7 of this year or last year or last month or the last 5 years were carpetbaggers like you prefer to call them. What are you trying to say besides you just want to run your mouth. I guess you are saying that you and the other 95.3 percent are GOB dumbasses. That’s a clear fact. Thanks for the figures. I guess? Not sure what point you are trying to make. We just want people to keep their promises and treat the citizens of Fairhope and Baldwin County with respect. Its been proven that the Fairhope council cannot do it and the Baldwin County Commission darn sure can’t do it. Facts. Can’t argue with the facts.

      • Angel Fricke | June 3, 2017 at 7:12 am |

The Baldwin County Commission and Sheriff are all in there because they rigged the elections. Wake up Baldwin County. They stole tax money from you recently. Everyone is brain dead in Baldwin County. What do they give these old people to shut them up? Everyone is scared of the power that be.

  10. Wesley Tumberlin | June 3, 2017 at 7:10 am |

I have lived in Fairhope about ten years. I am not from Alabama. I am one of those yankee jerks. During that time I have watched Paul Ripp go after Kant. He never stopped. He got Tim Kant. He got him good when nobody said he could. Kant was rigging the elections. Not no more.
Paul Ripp is a Marine and a trained sniper. I doubt if he is intimidated by Jack and his redneck buddies with money. These guys aren’t tough.
    My point here is short:
Ripp is going to get rid of all of the trash on the council in the next election and he may be able to get one or two to resign before. Kant’s uncle is in retirement. No more rigging.
Ripp is the last man standing and he knows way more than any council man. These new guys on the council are in big trouble. Wait till Ripp turns his crosshairs on them.

Ripp is Fairhope’s only hope to rid itselves from the pariah of corruption the good ole boys have brought home. God bless Paul Ripp. Where I come from he is a real man.

    • Anonymous | June 3, 2017 at 8:09 am |

Ripp didn’t get Kant, Kant got himself, Kant was his own worst enemy. Kant became a politician instead of a public servant, he stopped listening to his department heads, and then he became hostage to the money brokers.

The election wasn’t about who was better, both were poor choices, it was a fresh start. A start that has not happened, a start that is just like Kant’s. Hiring his friends, hiring those that are not qualified. This new mayor has harmed hard working people, people that may have disagreed with her, so she, like Kant thinks she owns the city. The public has lost total confidence in the mayor. Walk about town, a just listen!

If you think really qualified people will come and work for the city, think again, especially with this spyware issue, who would want to work in that environment? If you have a disagreement with the mayor, you could be subject to being spied on! This mayor has used the playbook from a dictator!

Ripp is a Marine, he knows who the real deal is!

  15. Melvin Beam | June 3, 2017 at 12:59 pm |

If Wilson resigns then the Council will appoint Burrell. Then the Catalyst kabal will strengthen its grip in Baldwin County. What other government entity-municipal or county- does not have a Catalyst person? Look who is running for state and federal senate? There will be a Catalyst candidate on both ballots. Notice how The Baldwin Insider wrote a hit piece on Pittman. Catalyst is trying to clear the field for its candidate

    • Anonymous | June 3, 2017 at 2:10 pm |

This is exactly why Karin Wilson needs to purge her administration of her overpaid friends and begin acting like she actually gives a flip about Fairhope. If she doesn’t clean it up fast, Burrell will be Mayor and we will have apartments and Section 8 housing everywhere that there is a patch of dirt left. All he cares about is making sure that his buddies can make a quick buck and pass some on to him. Anyone who has any influence with Wilson should try to talk her into at least pretending to care about our city.

      • Anonymous | June 3, 2017 at 11:46 pm |

Everyone that has been fired should have be fired the first day the Mayor took office. But, she wanted to give a chance to some of the already Shady employees and now they are trying to come back at her. She did nothing wrong firing the people that she did. Only that should have just done it the very first day after taking office that she was elected.

        • Anonymous | June 4, 2017 at 8:47 am |

I don’t have a problem with her firing Sullivan and Fidler or anyone else. My problem is with the incompetent and uneducated new hires and their absurd salaries. They will be Wilson’s downfall, not Sullivan & Fidler. They may have been incompetent & uneducated, as well (I have no idea), but if you throw out dirty water you buy clean water to replace it; she threw out dirty water and then paid more taxpayer money to purchase more dirty water. If she wants to hire her friends, she should put them to work at Page & Pallette; the city does not need to support these people.

    • The council would most likely appoint Burrell, true. However, according to municipal code, a special election would be held within 90 days to fill the office of mayor.

  16. Fairhopians we are losing our fair city to overzealous developers and builders. We must unite against these GOoBers! I read the Ripp Report religiously and it is past due time to form a citizen committee to improve the government!

–Leadership is lacking and growth issues still persist with no apparent plan of action.
      2. End Wasteful Spending (D)
–Airport debt was refinanced, but personnel issues and illogical ideas (i.e., take-over of library) overshadow any progress.
      3. Restore Communication and Trust (D)
–Town Hall meetings have been a positive (June meeting scheduled?), but overall communication is disjointed and inconsistent. Hirings and firings have been a disaster.
      4. Protect Our Most Valuable Assets (C)
–Stood firm on Fly Creek issue, well done.

Honestly, doubtful if the grades for any council member, based on their campaign promises, would be any better.

“4. Protect Our Most Valuable Assets (C) – Stood firm on Fly Creek issue, well done.”

You left off the other Valuable Assets she listed – The City Employees! She gets an F- in this category.

Attorney Jay Robinson, said the city should focus on preserving downtown Fairhope and the city’s quality of life. He supports a temporary moratorium on large, multi-family apartment complexes as well as imposing impact fees on development.

Brown said he doesn’t support new apartment complex construction. He said that high-density developments would be problematic, adding that “I’m afraid we’re following the nation

Conyers wants to preserve the city’s quality of life aspects while focusing on a plan for the 108 acres of city-owned and undeveloped property that could be “converted into green space or a park.”

-In Place 5, incumbent Kevin Boone, co-owner of Knockout Pest Control, wants the city to focus on improving roads, sewers and drainage while reducing its debt. He also wants the city to continue its restoration efforts of a harbor at the Fairhope Yacht Club.

-In Place 1, incumbent Jack Burrell, an engineer, said he supports level-funding for Fairhope’s schools, and not a substantial increase in the city’s contribution from $360,000 a year to a proposed $682,000. “We’re providing $900,000 a year in cash and in-kind services,” Burrell saiD

Brown loves Corte……..everyone on the council loves Corte. Perhaps we can’t prove payments by check from Corte to Boone, Burrell & Brown, but I know that overtime the B’s vote for Corte and throw Fairhope into the bay (with the sewer), something very nice comes their way from godfather greedy Corte.

          • Anonymous | June 4, 2017 at 10:28 pm |

I heard Browns company is building on Corte land now….
The council has another agenda…. We are not stupid

        • Gotcha 411 | June 4, 2017 at 10:48 pm |

Robinson C-.. We all know where those impact fees went when you were on planning and zoning…

Brown D…. Vote me out in 4 years I don’t care if you trust me……Corte is your friend .. Your a bad actor dude!

Boone F ….. r you waiting for PReble Rish to come up with those sewer plans & the only thing you want at the harbor Is a dead WALL filled with money Caught a MARLIN

Conyers C …. where’s the plan for that 108 acre park now .. I guess your Buddy Ray Hix can park his plane there… Right next to the humongous bronze statue of Ripp

Burrell L for lying…. You didn’t want school money funding to go up. you neefed that money for your buddies hangar and you did spend a lot at the Paris show… Plus you have two condos and a boat… Lots to keep up with… Can you do the same with your lies.

          • Fahrenheit 911 | June 4, 2017 at 11:22 pm |

Conyers F, he is a great butt kisser but not a good council member.

Brown C, he tells it like it is and if you can not handle it, then place your head back in the sand.

Boone C-, he is still Hell No Boone.

Robinson B, he called the mayor out on her Facebook management budget post while others just sat there.

Burrell D+, for allowing people during the council meeting to talk and talk and talk.

Wilson A+, the best spy in city government.

            • Dorothy Mills | June 5, 2017 at 6:33 am |

Jay Robinson appears a little light in the loafers. Conyers is a banker. Brown looks like he is mad he let Kant talk him into running. Jack looks skerred. Butthead looks, well, like Butthead.

              • Jester 666 | June 5, 2017 at 11:39 am |

Why the hate? Why the name calling? Where is the hope in Fairhope? Where is the love on Monday? It is a new week, we all start out the week pleasant, right?

The mayor will have Dean make a bronze statue of herself before she resigns, of course, Dean and, on one knee Ripp beside her! We all can worship these shrine in due time, there has not been enough damage yet, not enough long-term employees fired!

When all the city workers have been replaced with carpetbaggers and unqualified baggers at that, then the mayor will fly a new flag and have the statue raised and placed in the center circle at the peer, that will be your last order! That way when the sky-cam of TV-15-Mobile previews the peer it will reach the maximum audience!

Everyone claim down! The bronze material has already been purchased!

                Strike Fast! Strike Hard!

Well, I know that you’re in love with him
‘Cause I saw you dancin’ in the gym

          • “Brown D…. Vote me out in 4 years I don’t care if you trust me……”

And that’s EXACTLY what will happen

  17. D.L. Horton | June 4, 2017 at 1:06 pm |

The GOBs plan to run Karin off and then resume rigging elections. It is the only way and it must be done. A new fixit man is beibg groomed. Odom may be gone but his craft is not forgotten. The fix is in. Next time the GOOBERS win.

  18. Kant is your next commissioner.
Elliot is your next state senator.
Trip is your next US Senator.
Just the way it oughta be.
    Order restored.

    • Anonymous | June 6, 2017 at 5:59 pm |

Lol! That’s the best one I heard this week and I was even at a comedy club last night. Guy was making fun about stupid rednecks that don’t know anything. You missed out. You should have been there. You could have shared what drugs or alcohol that you are on with the crowd. If you have a family. Please get help.

      • Anonymous | June 6, 2017 at 6:28 pm |

Mayor Kant left this new mayor with one of the strongest balance sheets of any city in Baldwin County. This current council works their butts off, and they are smart. You should be thankful for Kant’s prior leadership, and this council’s leadership, this council wants nothing but the best for the city. If this mayor had her way she, she would spend, spend, then spend more, she may even Ripp on the payroll. Even Ripp knows he couldn’t work for the lady.

        Strike Fast! Strike Hard!

    • Anonymous | June 6, 2017 at 6:30 pm |

      1. Tim Kant = Proven Crook and worthless person who has pulled the wool over evey Fairhope Citizen
      2. Chris Elliot= Proven drunk driver with a convicted (DUI) and is also professional Liar all done during his term as a current County Commissioner. Still says he never anything to drink?? Why the DUI?
      3. Tripp Pittman = proven Theif and terrible conservationist and riddled the bay with poison and awards himself contracts too! Lies everyday when he says he’s a Christian and what ever else he Promises you!
Hmmmm! Yep! There are enough people with there noses up these people’s butts. Alabama Politics at its finest! Just ask around?

      • Anonymous | June 6, 2017 at 6:50 pm |

What proof do you have that Kant is a crook? I could care less about the others, what proof do you have that Kant is a crook? You don’t, you can not prove a damn thing except run your mouth. And you stand by what this mayor is doing! Now that this is funny!

        Strike Fast! Strike Hard!

        • Trevor Hoss | June 7, 2017 at 12:15 am |

          Mayor Kant not a crook?
Millions in lawsuits means kickbacks from hand arendall.

Kickbacks from pittman for that sweet bp contract.

          Kickbacks from the airport authority.

IF someone looked up term ‘dumbass’ in the dictionary, there is a picture of you to illustrate what a dumbass looks like.

            • Anonymous | June 7, 2017 at 2:26 pm |

You are mistaken. That was a selfie you took and posted. It actually has been in the dictionary for quite sometime now. A Dumbass and forgetful too!

        • Anonymous | June 7, 2017 at 12:27 pm |

What? Are you Kant’s lover or child or something. Geeze. I know the turth might sting a little. But it’s certainly been proven that Kant has done many things to prove he is a crook. If you had been coming to the meetings all these years. It would have been proven right before your eyes. He has never done whats best for the MAJORITY of the citizens of Fairhope. I’m standing by my statement about the 3 amigos. No positive remarks were given about anyone and the New Mayor wasn’t brought up. Still trying to figure all this crap out, wrong or right, regarding the new Mayor. If it’s proven that she is guilty. I’ll have even jump on your side. You’ve done a pretty good job running your own mouth about how You know Kant isn’t a crook without proof but that the New Mayor terrible. You would bring up hateful comments about the New Mayor if we were discussing the weather. Get over it. Let the legal system do its job and come to a meeting sometime. You prove she is guilty. “Strike Fast! Strike Hard! Are you reading this while being on the video game that you’ve been playing all this time since the election.

          • Anonymous | June 7, 2017 at 12:42 pm |

If they don’t say stuff like “Strike Fast! Strike Hard!” it would be too difficult to pull off the illusion that your talking to several people and not one person or organization posing as several personalities.

  19. Cathy Wilson | June 5, 2017 at 5:03 am |

Why are these new councilmen on their knees for Beavis and Butthead? Kinda hard to figure their reasoning. Payoffs maybe? Why would someone as “smart” as Conyers follow Jack so blindly?

  20. Penelope Price | June 5, 2017 at 8:23 pm |

I am glad you removed the eagle globe and anchor.
Thank you for your dedicated service to our country.
Not a single person on the council can say they served.
    scumbags that they are.

  21. Trevor Hoss | June 7, 2017 at 7:36 am |

Kant did not have a transition for Karin. He did not attend her swearing in.

    Total redneck move.
    Ttypical Kant.
    Bi sexual that he is.

    • Anonymous | June 7, 2017 at 10:06 am |

If you have been around this new mayor you would stay away too. Get around her too long and you’ll catch a case of the dumbass like you have!

  22. Dorothy Mills | June 7, 2017 at 7:59 am |

OKay Goobers! If you want to maintain power you better get better at lying to the public and running campaigns. You better get a ripp report of your own to disseminate “facts”. You better dump Jack and Boone and find a real candidate moving forward. So much fail with the GOoBers. Watching Ripp destroy y’all over the next several months is gonna be pure theatre. Jack I hope you and Kevin are happy. I hear y’all think y’all are gonna run the mayor off.

Think again. Cro Magnon men! You both are going down. Prepare thyself.

    • Anonymous | June 7, 2017 at 10:36 am |

Those of us from around here are primarily English descendants, not French! You need to go back to Louisiana and study more! You carpetbaggers shall be in for a rude awaking when the three amigos (Lynn, Sherrylee, and Wilson) are all gone soon, and then we will have a true leader in that office!

  23. No more rigging elections for the good ole boys. Pretty sure this ain’t happenin’ no mo!

    • Anonymous | June 7, 2017 at 10:48 am |

The only reason Wilson won the election is that everyone took her as a joke so they didn’t go and vote. Now we all know she is a joke!

  24. Anonymous | July 27, 2017 at 9:13 pm |

Ripp is like a Terrorist throwing a grenade, running and hiding them watching was confusion he has stirred.

Ripp as reliable media is a JOKE!

    • Anonymous | July 27, 2017 at 9:14 pm |

sorry, my typing sucks… meant “running and hiding THEN watching what confusion he has stirred”
