CATALYST STACKING THE DECK

Get ready Fairhope, CATALYST is now working under the Scott Boone Consulting banner. CATALYST can be best described as: “Intricate web of multiple concentric layers of companies that are intermingled around and intended, among other things, to conceal the interrelationships among and between, and to insulate from liability” The FBI defines a criminal enterprise as “a group of individuals with an identified hierarchy, or comparable structure, engaged in significant criminal activity.

A DECADE OF CORRUPTION

Baldwin County is a cesspool of political and judicial corruption. In the last 10 years the citizens of Baldwin County, especially Fairhope, have been slapped in the face with blatant corruption. Complaints to the Attorney General do not even generate a response. The Judiciary, Bar and Ethics Commission have a repeated record of one paragraph responses dismissing any and all documented evidence. !0 years ago this week State Senator Tripp “Boom Boom” Pittman and Fairhope Mayor Tim Kant, using Fairhope Staff, Greg Mims, Sherry Sullivan and Jennifer Fidler, to name a few, secured a bid for $636,000.

CATALYST CANDIDATES — EXCESS BAGGAGE

Baldwin County, you want an example how CATALYST works? All you have to do is pay attention to the Fairhope Municipal Election Aug. 25. Qualification is July 7-21st. CATALYST is lining up their candidates for Mayor and City Council and they all have excess baggage The current Fairhope Council are all CATALYST and represent the worst city council Fairhope has experienced in 25 years. Jack Burrell, the council president has held on to that position for two terms, 8 years.

Laugh Out Loud Baldwin

Baldwin County is full of laughs lately. Politics can cause mental damage and in Baldwin County we need an insane asylum for a few of them. First we have the “TAX MAN” Chris Elliott, he prefers the title State Senator, saying he has solved the School separation lawsuit between Gulf Shores and Baldwin County Superintendent Eddie Tyler. The reason there is a lawsuit is that Mr Tyler went back on his published promise to abide by the decision of the State Board of Education.

CAPTAIN JACK AT THE CONTROLS

The Fairhope Airport Authority, under control of Fairhope Council President Jack Burrell, continues to raise eyebrows,”What the hell is really going on at the Airport.” Millions of development dollars from federal agencies have expanded the airport with additional runways. Hangers are being offered on long term leases and no specific long range plan has been presented to the public. You just may look up one day and see Southwest flying in, think about it!

WHOSE AGENDA?

Fairhope’s City Council agenda, March 8th, was loaded with resolutions that should catch the eye of the voters and raise many questions about the City Council, NOT informing the public about the facts surrounding each resolution. [embeddoc url=“https://www.fairhopeal.gov/home/showdocument?id=21593" download=“all”] 10. Resolution – That Mayor Karin Wilson or Council President Jack Burrell, on behalf of the City of Fairhope, is hereby authorized to purchase the properties owned by the Baldwin County Board of Education: known as the K-1 Center, Fairhopers Community Park, and the James P.

Gulf Shores - SHOOT THE MESSENGER

Gulf Shores Mayor and Council are acting the same way the previous Mayor of Fairhope, Tim Kant, acted involving the controversy of the Fairhope Fly Creek Apartments. The Mayor and his buddy developer ignored the sentiments of the community. It cost the Mayor his job as well as a few councilman. The collateral effect in Fairhope resulted in firings, retirements and resignations of over a dozen employees, who needed to go.

THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

FAIRHOPE THE GOOD Fairhope has come a long way in the last 2 and ½ years. Infrastructure, sewer problems and planning and zoning all have gotten the attention of the new administration. The employees, supervisors and city staff are the best qualified personal the city has ever employed. These accomplishments did not come easy and did not come with any assistance of the Catalyst Council, who has yet to accomplish anything significant.

COMMUNICATION

Can you hear me now! How many times in the last 18 months has the Mayor of Fairhope gone on record, with the City Council, about the lack of communication between the Mayor’s office and the City Attorney. The Jan. 28th meeting of the Fairhope City Council is a prime example of the lack of communication the Mayor is talking about. The City Attorney and the Council President, Captain Jack, took it upon themselves to make decisions about the Golf Course equipment, without advising the Mayor of any details or problems.

ELLIOTT STACY HAYGOOD = CATALYST - WHO IS IN THE PICTURE?

This telling photo is the core group of Elliott Stacy and Haygood, from a few years ago, a political group that represents the “machine”, they are the mules. Mr. Elliott was appointed to the County Commission and Dane Haygood was elected as Mayor of Daphne, Mr Stacy retired. The group then morphed into CATALYST and Haygood and Elliott tried to stay in the shadows while maintaining status in Catalyst. The major goal of Catalyst is to maintain three positions in Baldwin County, Mayor of Fairhope, control of the County Commission and State Senate Seat 32.
