LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE

Baldwin County legislators are having a field day under, puppet Governor, Poison Ivy. Goat Hill is throwing one bill after another in the pot of corruption. The whole time they are playing the Alabama citizens as patsies. Your elected officials are testing the gullibility of the citizens of the State. Legislators want you to believe that the only accountability for political corruption is the Ethics Commission, which they control. Spin does not even come close to the outright lies they have been promoting through various legislative bills.

LEGAL CORRUPTION

Kyle Whitmire of Al.com has written a series of articles that most people in Alabama will not read. The sad truth is corruption is inbred in Alabama and our elected officials are more interested in special interests than their constituents. Baldwin County leads the list of the most corrupt counties in Alabama, Elected officials in Baldwin County do not fear the Ethics Commission, Attorney General of even the FBI. EXPOSURE EXPOSURE | THE RIPP REPORT / BALDWIN COUNTY LEGAL EAGLE The Ripp Report is a non-profit organization, politically non-partisan.

Laugh Out Loud Baldwin

Baldwin County is full of laughs lately. Politics can cause mental damage and in Baldwin County we need an insane asylum for a few of them. First we have the “TAX MAN” Chris Elliott, he prefers the title State Senator, saying he has solved the School separation lawsuit between Gulf Shores and Baldwin County Superintendent Eddie Tyler. The reason there is a lawsuit is that Mr Tyler went back on his published promise to abide by the decision of the State Board of Education.

GOAT HILL PIGGY-BANK

Baldwin County is the piggy-Bank for Goat Hill supported by the same elected officials, we elected, to represent us. The Tax Man Chris Elliott, as a county commissioner, taxed the citizens of Baldwin County without any vote of his constituents. Mr Elliott then raided the 1% school tax to the tune of 200,000 dollars a year, for the county. He is living up to his reputation as the Tax Man by supporting the gas tax, again without any vote by the public.

FAUX TAX, GAS TAX

Governor Kay Ivey is a puppet on a string. In a recent article she announces a special session for a gas tax. In one paragraph she talks about money for infrastructure two paragraphs later we find out the State Docks are going to get between 400,000 and 600,000 for dredging the ship channel. “And I want to be crystal clear – this money will be scrutinized and watched over – every single penny,” the governor said.

NOTHING IS FREE

For the last 15 years one complaint in Fairhope has been consistent. Why do I have to comply with Fairhope municipal regulations when I live outside the city limits and I cannot vote in Fairhope elections? Well, folks I will have to admit that the newly elected State Senator Chris Elliott is not who I thought would tackle the issue. The last State Senator Tripp, BP, Pittman never addressed any of the issues in the county, unless he could make a buck.

STEPPING UP

I do not want the Ripp Report readers thinking I am getting soft for complimenting some of the Baldwin County Mayors, but they deserve it. Fairhope definitely is on the right track and may be debt free by 2020. STATE OF THE CITY – 2019 STATE OF THE CITY – 2019 | THE RIPP REPORT / BALDWIN COUNTY LEGAL EAGLE Congratulations to the Mayor, Department heads, employees and the production staff who produced the 2019 State of the City booklet.

STATE SENATE SEAT - DISTRICT 32 - BOMBS AWAY

Heads up, sounds like two different authorities are checking out Fairhope. The Ripp Report is waiting on tips to the Rippster in the hopes of finding out who’s in hot water. Something tells me that the next couple of weeks leading up to the primary election June 5, is going to be very interesting. Stay Tuned. The State Senate Seat for District 32 is one of the more important races of this mid-term.
