It seems the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Department has internal hanky panky problems. One of the top officers in the Sheriff’s Department has been having a little extra curricular activity with a subordinate female employee, who is married to a fellow officer. No official action by the sheriff has been taken, in fact, looks like it’s covered up from the public. Why should we care? Because the Sheriff’s Department is well known for cover ups. The problem is that fellow officers are now wondering how this situation is not public and severe action has not been taken against the senior officer. The Ripp Report has had 3 different people call us giving us dates, names and ranks of the individuals involved. Let’s see how Sheriff Hoss Mack is going to spin this sordid story.

This is just another chapter of a Sheriff’s Department that has been run by one person with no supervision, no transparency and no accountability. Another chapter is the wrongful conviction case of Murray Lawrence Jr., Hoss Mack was the lead investigator, that produced zero evidence against Mr. Lawrence. This case strongly resembles the Netflix documentary “Just Mercy”. Mr. Lawrences case is currently being followed for a future documentary similar to “Just Mercy”.

BACKPEDALING FAUXHOPE
The backwards backpedaling Fauxhope City Council had to eat crow when it came to eliminating public participation at council meetings. Of course the matter of free speech and public participation was front and center when they denied yours truly the right to speak. The public outcry was resounding and the council got the message loud and clear. Councilman Jack Burrell threw Councilman Martin under the bus. Jack said he was surprised to see the item on the agenda.
FAIRHOPE FREE YEAR
I bet only 1 or 2 % of the voters in Fairhope know that not one city council person, the mayor or the appointed municipal attorney and municipal judge have been elected or appointed for there 5th year in office. The Alabama legislature thought it necessary to postpone municipal elections in 2024 due to the presidential election. A free year in office, full family insurance and the ability to make decisions for Fairhope’s future, without a single vote cast.

In Fairhope, Alabama, there’s a water shortage, incomplete infrastructure projects, and an overloaded sewer system. When will Baldwin County wake up and vote in new blood. The GOB, Good ole Boys, have a strangle hold on Baldwin County. They determine the candidates that will tow the line or raise their hand when told to do so. Sheriff Hoss Mack calls the shots and Mayors just bend over. The school system, Eddie and Gray, have job security guaranteed, as long as they go along. Their is no accountability or transparency as long as this cabal exists.
