Before we get into the ugliness of the Senate race, let me address the ugliness of some comments we have been receiving. Some comments are just ignorant but the name calling, senseless rambling about allegations without any facts and violent references to elected officials and their families, will not be tolerated. These comments however do represent the vile nature of the author. It is also a classic example of how some people in Fairhope are convinced they are entitled, and the rest of us are carpetbaggers and Yankees. Please do not act like an idiot or your comments will be deleted.

Jackson, Breault, Maxwell, Peeples and Gentile, who dropped out, all are virtually unknown in Baldwin County. That leaves Luther Strange, Roy Moore, Mo Brooks Tripp Pittman and Randy Brinson are left, all campaigned in Baldwin County.
Luther Strange has sold his soul just for the opportunity to live in the swamp. He let the Luv Gov walk for a plane ticket to Washington. As Alabamaโs Attorney General he also let Sen Tripp Pittman keep his 750,000 dollars of BP money. His office failed to go after Pittman while dozens of citizens got caught up in BP fraud for less than 10,000 dollars. No on โsmallโ Luther.
Roy Moore thrown off the Alabama Supreme Court for not upholding the very laws he swore he would protect. No Way! Why would you vote for someone who has been fired twice for NOT doing his job?
Mo Brooks who has stated that if Jeff Sessions was fired by President Trump and Brooks won the Senate seat, he would give the Alabama Senate seat back to Sessions. Sorry but that just sounds nuts. His commercials are not as bad as Lutherโs, but they are close.
Luther, Moore and Brooks are considered the top three and are in competition to see who can out GOD the other. All three think all they have to do is be anti Obama and talk about what good Christians they are.

The Ripp Report will be following the Senate race and we hope to inform the rest of Alabama just how damn bad Sen. Pittman has been for Baldwin County and how sending him to the swamp would be the worst decision they ever made.

Personally, I would find it more enjoyable if the comments that don’t add anything are removed. He never said he will remove anti mayor supporter’s comments. Ripp could have made it so all comments have to be approved but he doesn’t. How are 20 identical comments praising Jester doing anything but getting in the way?
I’m not saying all support for Jester should be removed. I’m talking particularly about handles like Anonymous 2 who I think even the Jester has had enough of. It gets in the way of anybody’s message here. It’s not funny or entertaining.
Question, is it permissible to use words like Yankee, Carpetbaggers, Scallywag or Bushwhacker? Noticed I used capital letters for each noun to show historic respect. Or is that so profound that it is going to be deleted? Why do can’t everyone use a handle that way we all will know how saying what. Also, if we find something that is serious, can we point things out or is an allegation banned too? As we all an ethics complaint is an allegation and not something that has been proven, so if it is an allegation then can it be in The Ripp ‘Report’s” edition or commits section? Also, can someone ask a serious question that could or may raise an allegation? I am trying play fair! This remark can be deleted, I agree with Ripp of some of this edition and really appreciate how Ripp did not bash the council members this Friday. Yes, I posted that remark!
Allegations having to do with public figures are not banned. Allegations that have nothing to do with the public will be removed. I don’t have an exact answer but keep in mind, your comments are your own. If law enforcement requests identifying information for a valid reason, the information will be provided. For example, if requested, we would hand over the Jester’s identifying information before the Jester discovered Tor and VPNs. In that event, law enforcement would use that information to go to your ISP, such as Verizon or At&t, and get a matching name.

Wow. Feeling sorry for the Jester. I also agree with you but, I think both of them have gotten in the way. I’ve gone back and read the past several articles and comments and I saw where anonymous 2 was involved in only one article. You think that Jester even had enough of anonymous 2 and you don’t think Jester’s comments are not hateful and disturbing. You have a problem. Let’s stick with the issues and try to show what kind of people who demean, lie about, call stupid and dumbass and what color stripes should the mayor be wearing, etc, etc, comments about 1/4 or more of all the posts. Question – what is deemed a threat? I have never said that I would beat up anyone, but many have said they want to beat me up so is that a threat! Well I certainly do not miss anonymous 2. I can’t help to see that there are 15 comments as of 11:08 pm and 3 are Jester of course. Some people who actually thought the anonymous 2 comments where getting in the way. I looked back at all the truly hateful and childish post without haveinf merit most of the time by Jester Triple-Six. The Ripp Report must have hired him to begin with to stir all this crap up. None of this would have gotten to this point if it were not for Jester Triple-Six. Also, if someone uses someone’s established handle the admin said it would not post it. Well then, I would be careful posting on this site whatsoever if the admin can tell if you are not the person that uses a handle. I have a simple question but, I also have a comment. I think it’s very unethical for Trip Pittman to obtain all these municipalities heavy equipment contracts, the Fairhope debris removal and the BP Oil Spill contract that he (Pittman Tractor) got and should not have gotten and then on top of that! He did a rotten disgraceful job and polluted our bays by instructing the anchor ropes be cut while leaving the anchors themselves in the bay and took the money that actually covered removing the anchors also and ran Straight to the bank while screwing the public and other companies that should have gotten the contract and would have done the job right! Just a terrible and shameless human being! My question is, How much money has state senator Trip Pittman (Pittman Tractor) taken, in contracts since he took office??? I know he will not win the US senate seat. Don’t think there are that many people left that would even consider voting for him in any capacity. I don’t think I really won’t to know how much he has personally screwed us citizens out of? Can anyone give me an estimate? I kniw he has received millions? But how much????

Well said about the way Trip Pittman uses Christ as a pulpit for his political agenda. We know this to be true because both Pittman and Jack Burrell use the same tactics. Trip lies and steals and Jack lies, gets drunk at school fundraisers and talks down to everyone especially women who in the Lord’s eyes are just as equal as men. Fact: 99% of all politicians who are bible thumpers and brag on having such events as their prayer breakfast. Don’t know 90% of what the Bible teaches and are not true Christians. I can assure you that both Pittman and Burrell pray for only one thing. More money and how to get it. They both should be asking for forgiveness from not just God, but ALL of us as well. I was brought up to forgive. I was also brought up to not forget and allow corruption to continue without doing my part in helping to stop it. As far as Pittman is concerned. That won’t be to hard to do and will end soon. Burrell is just a matter of time and I’m watching how disrespectful he is to everyone and watched as the rest of the councilmen were embarrassed by what they call their leader. That’s happening more and more. Those of them that continue on believing in Jack Burrell will also be forced out of office. The tone is changing. If the Council or the Mayor does not shape up. EventBrite is used a lot, not to purchase tickets but to gauge response and attendance so that if a venue needs to be modified it can be. Stop trying to make a big deal out of something unwarranted.

I did enjoy reading the Ripp Report and the comments even though I did not agree with all of the comments. Jester Triple 6 and Anonymous 2 hijacked this site. UPTON. I have read the Ripp report for a long time. There was certainly one article where Anonymous 2 went all out on Jester and I agree with some of you that said it was ridiculous and even got to Jester himself. Well. I think that anonymous 2 might have done it just for that reason. For months we have had to put up with the out of controlled comments from Jester Triole-Six. Anonymous 2 I am certain they accomplished their mission and that is to point out what crap we were having to put up with Jester. The Ripp Report administration should have done something MONTHS ago before we let Jester make fools of the Ripp Report and all of us who were trying to enjoy it. It took anonymous 2 just one story to finally get people to stand up, including the Ripp Report to finally at least attempt to tone what had been out of control posting months before Anonymous 2 made their point. If it got they got to Jester and the Ripp Report I’m glad. Taking posting on one story to get Ripp’s attention means that they should always remember that it was Jester Triple-Six that began months ago posting the hateful and degrading post that I personally couldn’t believe were allowed in the first place. Exactly why would Trip Pittman hold back the Autism Bill. Is there anything with it that he is personally against. What in the world could he make money holding the people with Autism and their families as well almost as hostages. He stated that he opposes the bill because the cost of if will drive up already surging insurance costs. I agree with him. It takes Obamacare to an entirely new level of stealing from one group to subsidize another. I believe that Trip is a fraud and a thief and have no intention of ever voting for him, but I agree with his stance on the autism bill. People need to assume the costs of raising their own children. Obamacare has forced us to pay for multiple drug rehabs for people who have no intention of stopping their drug use; autism treatment will become another big industry.

I have been in business for 30 years and have had some lean years and got through the most recent economic downturn. But obama care almost killed us and lost 2 full time employees. Somewhat underwhelmed with last night’s town hall meeting. Vision is good but implementation is seriously lacking. Someone in the the audience asked, “how is the city going to pay for all of this”? Response: “That’s a good question.” Huh? Seriously?
Actually, that was only one person’a response. The Mayor went on to explain more, including but not limited to efforts to pull those who are not in the city limits in to be able to contribute their fair share financially, as they should. Maybe you just tuned out when the Mayor started speaking. I felt for an hour-and-a-half presentation, a LOT was covered and explained. It’s great that so many folks showed up with fair questions and participation and I look forward to more.
Interesting how only Jay Robinson and Jimmy Conyers bothered to show up to represent the Council. Not surprising, just interesting.

You are wrong on both counts, just Tuesday night the Fairhope operations director discussed the need of an inland sewer plant to avoid discharge in the bay. You are wrong about past elections being fair however you are right that Karin Wilson did win the election fairly.
Seriously sell the Airport and demand new owners are in the city limits. No joke what the hell do we need with an airport ? Take the cash and do infrastructure and improve school, the airport will still be there.
