PUBLIC ACCESS

Once again the voters can see the true colors, and arrogance, of Commissioner’s Dorsey and Elliott.

Man chainsaws public barricade, dumps debris in county office – Lagniappe Mobile

Last week a man walked into Baldwin County Commission Chairman Chris Elliott’s office and dumped debris from a piece of county property he had chainsawed down earlier that day. It was a rather dramatic escalation in a long battle over waterfront access in Point Clear, but Michael Hutchison said he’s tired of history repeating itself …

Instead of admitting to a mistake Elliott, supported by Dorsey, doubled down with threats against citizens and defended their actions in a County Commission Meeting.

Baldwin County Commission discusses Zundel Road barricade – Lagniappe Mobile

Lagniappe The Baldwin County Commission recently attempted to restrict vehicular access to Zundel Road, leading to a dust-up with a local resident. A conversation between Baldwin County Commissioner Tucker Dorsey and County Engineer Joe Nunnally ultimately led to the chainsawed remains of a newly county-constructed barricade being dumped in Commissioner Chris Elliott’s office last …

Dorsey texted, “Teenagers drinking, making out with their girlfriends, drug buy meets, easy dirt road to go hide down where police don’t patrol.”

What a load of crap. The real reason is Dorsey and Elliott have major donors, who live on the Bay, and they want the property vacated. This would deny public access and the donors would not be bothered with the pesky public.

Zundel Road is in Elliott’s district however Dorsey took the lead in barricading access, which he later denied, while Elliott had his thumb in his mouth and was busy cleaning his office of the barricade debris.

Why would you vote for a County Commissioner or candidate for a State Senate seat, that would deny “established and legal” public access to Mobile Bay.

Petitions work, remember the Tatumville, Big Head Gully Petition? It garnered over 2200 signatures and convinced the Single Tax corporation and the Fairhope City Council that the PUBLIC should be listened to.

  1. Tucker and Elliot didn’t know about the court cases.

Oh yes they did. Even if they don’t it was their job to know. These two are sneaky and will lie. Heck Chris Elliot had showed us he is a liar as well as a drunk
As for Tucker he is just a blow hard bully

  2. DUI? Great place to hide? | May 11, 2018 at 6:13 pm |

I think that’s where County Commissioner Chris Elliott hid out before he got his DUI. He should have stayed hidden if Tucker Dorsey says it’s such a concealed place. Out with both of these rotten drunks!

Ha. Catalyst will save these two and the rest of their clients. Catalyst will continue to own the county and now they are moving up to the state level.
Catalyst iwns the real estate vote

The county ballots have been rigged for years by Hoss Mack. It is the role of the sheriff and a few able and willing crooked deputies. If you think HOss is a “good man” you are wrong. He and Trip Pittman rigged his race so he had no competition. He is a power hungry theif.

I could not agree more…….what absurd excuses from such vain and vapid abusers of taxpayer money.

  3. Georgia Orwell | May 12, 2018 at 9:30 pm |

Tucker Dorsey must be on drugs if he believes that drug dealers would do business on a narrow road leading only into the sewage infested bay……..his ‘reasons’ are absurd. Any law enforcement official will tell you that criminals are always scouting their ‘way out’. I hope that Baldwin County voters will kick both DUI Christian Chris Elliot and stupid Tucker Dorsey to the curb asap!

  4. I bet Elliot and Tucker both win the election.

  5. No hope will vote for Tucker and Elliott. Roy Moore win big in Fairhope.

Baldwin County is in the midst of a development boom that will leave it unlivable. Fairhope right now is building everywhere. Go look. This all must been permited before Karin. We don’t have enough roads right now and the schools are crowded. There has been no real planning for the future because here we are and it sucks.

    • That is what the current commission is doing. They are owned by those that mske money off of this unsustainable growth. When they make their money they will plan to leave and move on to another area they can ruin
Let’s get them out before they do more damage. Look at what is happening here in Spanish Fort

The developers have descended like falcons on Baldwin county. The politicians have paved the way literally and figuratively. I see no end in sight. Brace yourselves for all of the problems associated with growth. Traffic. Overcrowded schools with behavior problems. A loss of the small town charm Fairhope once had. What a travesty that has occurred before our very eyes. So utter heartbreaking!

    • This is why we must vote. The developers and real estate interests already have their people lined up but there are more of us. We just have to realize that we can and must make a move to protect what is ours and stop these falcons. Look at the people in office. So many of them are builders that have moved in to loot our home

Most of the growth was set in motion by Kant. I imagine Tim is counting cash about now somewhere.

  9. Penelope Price | May 14, 2018 at 6:07 am |

In Fairhope, I don’t know what else can be done to fix things traffic wise. The road system is overloaded. You ain’t gonna widen 98. Can’t do it. It’s already a four lane. Corte’s apartments will put several more hundred cars on an already overused road. Not to mention all the apartments going up in daphne lately. The whole eastern shore has attracted too many people. The politicians have not cared about infrastructure because it is expensive and they were supposed to charge developers but didn’t because they give them their campaign cash. It is a tired vicious cycle.
