According to two independent sources familiar with communications between the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and federal immigration enforcement personnel, internal tensions reportedly escalated during the current sheriff’s election cycle over BCSO participation in immigration-related operations connected to the federal 287(g) program. The sources allege that Chief Deputy David White became upset with BCSO deputies assisting Mobile Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), expressing concern that ERO agents were “just out stopping brown people” and that continued involvement risked giving BCSO a negative public image during an election season.
Contribution from CONCERNED BALDWIN COUNTY CITIZEN To Sheriff Anthony Lowery and the Citizens of Baldwin County, Alabama: It has come to the attention of many in our community that validated reports are circulating suggesting that the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office has quietly stepped back from active cooperation with federal immigration enforcement efforts and that this decision may be directly tied to the current election cycle. This is deeply troubling. We understand that politics is complicated. We understand that campaigns require strategy. What we do not understand and frankly will not accept is the idea that any elected official would deliberately scale back public safety enforcement to protect their own political standing. The badge does not belong to the sheriff. It belongs to the people of Baldwin County.
Only in Baldwin County would political operatives produce a newsletter Baldwin Beat aka BB. Baldwin Bullshit. It is reported to be published in a pasture for Bulls that have diarrhea and a GOB brand. So the message is we are going to tell you something you need to know. But we can't say who we are, who we represent, who is paying us, who are the political consultants, or if what we are saying is truthful??? WTF
Well it's not an October surprise because all of our elections will be decided at the Republican Primary on May 19, 2026. I want to compel you to reject the Cabal Candidate Kristi Hagood, currently a Baldwin County Assistant District Attorney. She can not hide from her work product and we use it and my knowledge of the case to compel you to reject this 'Tough of Crime' caca and elect someone who cares about Justice.

Stealing from children is almost always a criminal act and can involve serious legal consequences. If you suspect someone is stealing from children, it is critical to report it to the proper authorities. What would you call a man who is entrusted with children’s school scholarship’s and he uses that trust to rob their ability of a school scholarship? What if that man was a politician and other politicians ignored the obvious abuses?
Published July 27 2024. Sheriff Hoss Mack has one foot out the door and is hoping to slide his second choice, Anthony Lowery in as his “suggested” replacement. Lowery has professed in the past that he did not want the job. He has to know that a ton of crap out of the Hoss Boss closet, is going to expose some very embarrassing incidents involving BCSO. It seems that The Speaker's lobbyist Steve Raby is running around with a bag full of out of state gambling interest money. Some seems to have made it into the hands of some executives who work in the Mayor of Birmingham's LGBTQ Office and are using said funds to support a Democrat. To get rid of a thorn in the side of the Alabama Legislature and especially Speaker Ledbetter's, the Democrat Rep for Alabama House District 60 Juandalynn Givan, a true contrarian even in the Democratic ranks (which is a complement to her character).Take a listen and ask your pals if they know Joshua Coleman, Steve Raby, or Dax Swatek. Chances are your legislators (Elliott, Simpson, Allbritton, Holk-Jones and company) already got theirs, along with a candidate for Attorney General, which should make for a comical press conference from her boss who is running for US Senate. This should sink some ships but in Alabama News we call this "Just another Thursday".
