Phenix City Corruption is Eerily Similar to Fairhope

Dear Fairhopians,

Please read the linked article below and comments – particularly the comments.

http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/2012/06/28/2102694/phenix-city-manager-wallace-hunter.html

Yesterday Jonathan Smith, planning and zoning czar who does not know where the First Baptist Church is, sent an email congratulating city administrator Gregg Mims for the ACCMA Award.

What Mr. Smith omits is that Mr. Mims was one of three people nominated for the award and he was third among three (last place).

This vanity award concocted by Jonathan Smith, shows just how lame and pathetic our government is.

Further review shows clearly that most of those attending in Gulf Shores for a three-day event only conducted business for a few hours on the first day and the next two days were simply “party time.”

On our dime of course.

That’s how Gregg rolls.

Most of those in attendance received awards that they were nominated for by other members who were sitting there.

It was all fluff at our expense. Gregg is obviously padding his resume.

But, what is telling is to research the corruption going on with the city administrator of Phenix City.

See the article!!!

It appears that the city administrator in Phenix City will be fired with the election of a new council.
