Dear Fairhopians and Alabamians,

Governor Robert Bentley will go down in history as the absolute worst Governor the State of Alabama has ever seen. Bentley claims to save Alabama taxpayers millions while he costs us billions.

For instance, the Alabama Education Accountability Act is disgraceful. Representative Chad Fincher and State Senator Trip Pittman also get credit for this “Hindenburg” of legislation. $40 million has been robbed from education for only 52 students that qualified statewide.

Immigration–the governor and legislature cost us millions in loss revenue, lawsuits and bad publicity only to have the entire legislation shot down.

Medicaid–$1.5 billion of income for three years–15,000 new jobs affecting over 300,000 recipients, half of which are children; our governor Bentley is going to leave this money on the table. How Christian is that?

And let’s not forget the Mobile Tar Sands Debacle, BP Corruption and the No-Bid State Park in Gulf Shores.

Mike Hubbard, the Alabama Speaker of the House is the subject of three grand jury investigations. His defense is name-calling. Specifically, he has called Matt Hart, the Alabama Attorney General Office’s special prosecutor for White Collar Crime and Political Corruption, “unstable and crazy.” That’s smart, Mike. Piss off the main man investigating you.

The same “crazy and unstable” Matt Hart is also looking up the dress of Mayor Tim Kant and the Sham-Wow-covered Trip Pittman.

Mikey Is Gone!

Mike Odom and the Fairhope Courier, are history. Mike is going to get his masters degree in self-adulation and vanity awards. The no-news Courier cut its own throat by reporting no news.

Our statewide papers will follow. Their no-news, status quo political agenda will also be their demise. Both the Mobile Register and Birmingham News are selling their buildings. It is only a matter of time until nearly all news will be digital. And the status quo politicians love this.

The recent news of Attorney General, Luther Strange’s “alleged” extra-marital affair with a former campaign manager has gone viral across the state. This has people calling for his immediate resignation if it is true. The “strange story” is documented fully on the legalschnauzer blogsite.

The entire state is asking questions about this precarious situation. But, there are no answers from the media.

Do you consider yourself a Republican? Is this what you consider “Republican?” Because these hypocritical republicans are destroying the Republican Party and the State of Alabama.

Congressional Race

In closing, I want to comment on the ongoing congressional race here in South Alabama.

Wells Griffith, who lives in Washington, but has qualified claiming his residence with mommy and daddy in Mobile, is the machine’s pick; and the machine is going to do “anything” to get what it wants in the outcome of this important congressional race.

Because then, they get what they want.
