The average age of voters was 61. WOW think about that! Over 76% of the voters did not vote and with an average age of 61. It is more than apparent that most people below the age of 60 just do not give a damn about politics. With voter participation that low, Baldwin County is ripe for political corruption which leads to loss of quality of life and property values.

If that is not embarrassing enough, this is. The ballot was a single page with the four commission seats on the back of the ballot. District one was Burt and Ball with Ball winning with 1016 votes. In district two, Davis and Lake, Davis won by 1314 and district four, Gruber and Johnson, Gruber won by 675.
Out of 27,511 republican ballots cast only 22,308 voted in the district 4 commissioner race, 21,648 in the district 2 commissioner race, and 22,907 in the district 1 race, In the district 3commissioner race there were 23,936, the highest number of votes out of a pool of 27,511 Republicans. Meaning 3,575 or more voters did not bother voting on the Commissioners race. The most reasonable summation is that
3,575 voters DID NOT TURN THE BALLOT OVER.
That is enough votes to swing anyone of the four commission seats.
Another interesting note is that Billie Joe Underwood received about 2000 more votes cast for any other commissioner. She was the only candidate that reminded people prior to the voting date that the commissioner’s race was on the back of the ballot.

Baldwin County missed the boat on this election in more ways than one.
In the primary Catalyst won three of 8 positions they sponsored. They lost 2 and three are in runoff’s.

JULY 17th is the RUNOFF PLEASE VOTE
The Probate Judge race is down to two candidates, neither is Catalyst. Harry D’ Olive who surprised a lot of people, who had him last, he finished first. His challenger is Alan Lipscomb. Baldwin County is lucky in this race, either candidate will do a good job. They are NOT Catalyst.

Behind this person are real estate people, housing contractors, subdivision builders, and those that are responsible for putting in all the housing developments here in Baldwin County. These subdivisions will soon be ghettos in future years.
I researched the campaign reports of the Catalyst candidates and I see the names donating tens of thousands to these candidates. I invite anyone to look up the contributors and see for themselves that our county is being stolen from us.
Of course the transient landowners will squawk about freedom to do with their land as they wish but when you ask them to address their responsibility of their actions of the burden they place on the rest of us landowners, they have no answer. They will then sell their land in small housing lots, dump it on the rest of us, and move on to the next target.

Well, the Catalyst certainly done well just by the fact that there are so many people that want to bitch and moan about problems, but not take the responsibility of a birth right and go and vote to make a difference. Baldwin County certainly has it’s share of absolutely TERRIBLE County Commissioners and the ones who survived thus far were elected because of the stupidity of those who choose to sit on their asses and not make a difference. That exactly what CATALYST stands for. So, let’s get it together and get rid of Tucker Dorsey, Michael Thomason and especially Mr. DUI and lying Chris Elliott. I have faith that people want to make a difference and you people have one more chance to do just that. So write July 17th on your calendar and make it YOUR DAY to do just that. Change the nasty ways that Baldwin County is being represented. If you are 18, 28, 38, etc or whatever age you are. It’s time to cast a vote AGAINST Dorsey, Elliott and Thomason. I can promise you that you will fell great afterwards. It’s the decent thing to do is show that you love BALDWIN County and vote for Billie Jo Underwood, David Northcutt and Christy Olinger Edwards and then we will finally vote out the worthless Judge Thomason after we defeat her this time. This is your County. This is your Chance to take some positive action and go vote to start curbing the crap that we have had to deal with for a very long time. Michelle Thomason, you don’t have enough morals to Judge a cockroach. I’ve been in your courtroom and witnessed your pathetic ruling to punish good people for no reason. That’s FRAUD!!!! Tucker Dorsey, you have lied (also the victims that were illegally fired and their families, do not forget) and been such a poor example of helping Baldwin County by helping to ruin it and probably the worse hypocrite in any of the races whatsoever and Chris Elliott, I know you continue to drink and drive and we are fed up with your DUI and you lies. You do a piss poor job representing you and you own family much less the County. You all have to go. People. Go vote. Make a difference!!!! You know these are all facts. Get moving!!!!

Well this is just in. The provisional ballots have been counted for circuit clerk and Jody Wise has more votes the the Catalyst candidate. Another Catalyst bites the dust. I count nine races that Catalyst has managed because I count Battle for governor was run by Catalyst down here. Battle lost.
So the way I count it Catalyst is 3 for 10 without counting the run offs for state senator and county commission place 3. We just need for Underwood and Northcutt to win these run offs to get future candidates to stop selling their souls to Stacey, Cox, Elliot, Pribble, Boone, and the rest of the Good Ole Boys.
