Laugh Out Loud Baldwin

Baldwin County is full of laughs lately. Politics can cause mental damage and in Baldwin County we need an insane asylum for a few of them.

First we have the “TAX MAN” Chris Elliott, he prefers the title State Senator, saying he has solved the School separation lawsuit between Gulf Shores and Baldwin County Superintendent Eddie Tyler. The reason there is a lawsuit is that Mr Tyler went back on his published promise to abide by the decision of the State Board of Education. Elliott is also talking down development in public while his record supports all the development his CATALYST friends can get their hands on. Elliott was covering for Tyler, his partner on the penny tax, that no one got to vote on.

Remember the DUI?

Who’s Chris Elliott trying to fool? – Lagniappe Mobile

Who’s Chris Elliott trying to fool? – Lagniappe Mobile

In terms of sheer political theater, watching Baldwin County Commissioner Chris “I Have Sinned” Elliott trying to fool voters into believing he hasn’t attempted to use political clout to keep his license after a May 2016 DUI is Tony Award worthy. Elliott took it up a notch last Thursday when he spoke at a luncheon …

What did it cost Baldwin County taxpayers when Tyler filed a lawsuit where the basis for the suit was Tyler breaking his promise to the taxpayers and teachers. Gulf Shores open your wallet, remember the saying “you may regret what you wish for”.

Gulf Shores, Baldwin County reach agreement on city-county school split

The agreement was announced Thursday during a joint press conference in Robertsdale. It essentially allows Gulf Shores to move ahead with its city school on June 1.

The TAX MAN is trying to divert your attention from the GAS TAX he just rammed up our butts.

Baldwin County is the piggy-Bank for Goat Hill supported by the same elected officials, we elected, to represent us. The Tax Man Chris Elliott, as a county commissioner, taxed the citizens of Baldwin…

You can always count on the CATALYST tabloid and the editor, Chucky Cheese to spin things the way CATALYST wants.

Gas tax amendment means more money for Baldwin County

Gas tax amendment means more money for Baldwin County

With the state legislature recently passing its first gas tax increase since 1992, the breakdown of how that additional revenue will be distributed across the state has been a topic of concern, but a …

The next laugh almost had me wet my pants. Ready? Jack Burrell, Fairhope Council President for life, is thinking about running for congress, Bradly Byrne’s seat. Now don’t laugh to loud we did elect the TAX MAN Elliott.

Jack has no idea what it means to be vetted for office. Jack must be drinking if he thinks he has a chance of being a United States Congressman. The local CATALYST group may have his back but his past political antics will catch up to him.

Fairhope Council President fails, again. The Fairhope City Council rushed into a deal to obtain grant money to purchase the K-1 center. Council president Burrell would not consider any other options…

What about that police report he refuses to explain? Captain Jack has a big closet. He claims to work as an engineer however no one knows where he works, much less as an engineer.

A DOCUMENT FOR CATALYST A police report is a public document, it is not a Ripp Report, it is a police report. The Ripp Report has received several tips involving Mr Jack Burrell and the law.

The last laugh is the CATALYST pick for Mayor of Fairhope in 2020. Sherry Sullivan, one of former Mayor Cant’s staff. Her position was Community Affairs and later head of the recreation department, where she failed miserably. Sherry and her two cohorts in lawsuits, Jennifer Fidler and Pandora Heathcoat, all were fired from their Fairhope positions and sued the city when they got fired, for not doing their jobs. Now with the help of CATALYST and the backing of the CATALYST council, they wish to go back to the days of the good ole boys and the jobs they did so poorly, but got paid big bucks for. Sherry will enjoy the backing of the CATALYST tabloid and the CATALYST am radio station, she will not enjoy, just like Jack, the vetting process. Fairhope employees are not laughing they do not want Sherry back, they know Sherry will be a puppet of Can’t and CATALYST and the employees fear corruption will return.

The laugh is on us for electing Chris Elliott, The TAX MAN. We will not be laughing long if CATALYST is able to elect Jack and Sherry.

  1. Off subject for just a second. If some of these jets and planes continue to fly below the restricted altitude. I’ll show you how to shut down the Airport and Jack Burrell. I don’t care how many fly over. Obey the FFA laws. Don’t think that I’m just another bullshiter like Kack Burrel is! One last thing. I hope that the next time someone in Faihope says that we are not in the education business. They too will have their sorry ass pointed out of our town. This is our town. Stand up people!

  2. Mayor Robert Craft has nothing but air between his ears. This whole thing about the schools is an embarrassment to all of us. These people don’t care about what they do or the decisions they make. As long a they think they have power and stuffing money in their pockets. They don’t care how stupid we all look!

Craft and Burrell are Christian. How dare you criticize these laymen who do the Lord’s work in the name of catalyst! Jack and his family have brought Fairhope together by grounding half the junior Fairhope high school class. Grandma’s house waas a killer party brah!!

Catalyst rules Baldwin County. Thank the Lord that these Christian Conservatives are in control
As long as the sheep of Baldwin and the developers and the real estate people led by Cox keep their money flowing in the politicos’ pockets expect more of the same

      • Big Joker Huh? | March 23, 2019 at 6:36 pm |

Always a joker in the group. You wouldn’t know if Jesus himself knocked on you door. Take your humor to devil. He’s the only one listening to you.

  3. Good riddance Jackie!

    Congressman Burrell?
    You obviously don’t know Jack.

  5. Congressman Burrell will represent the first district with honor and dignity. Has my vote over Bradley.

    • Francis Ripp | March 26, 2019 at 12:00 pm |

Look hard at his political record it sucks he has screwed up a dozen things and has not accomplished anything. That is a fact.

  6. Riley J. Witherspoon | March 23, 2019 at 5:13 pm |

I see problems for the entire council in 2020.

Not enough sewage capacity or roads…but they keep a building…

    • Sorry to see Baldwin destroyed | March 24, 2019 at 12:30 pm |

They keep building because the developers own the politics here. When the cities do try to control growth in the police jurisdiction, you have Chris Elliot in Montgomery trying to get a bill passed to roll back the police jurisdictions. This is the developers telling him what to do so they can do as they please.
Hey Belaton homeowners: how do you like those cheap homes going up behind you? This is aclassic developer move: Build expensive houses until you build them out then throw up cheaper homes. Your declining home values plus you all paying off that million dollar pool was a double whammy. And they call these patio homes – ha

      • But wait DUI Elliot just passed a bill that forces developers to go before the school board to get their neighborhoods passed.

Think how unrealistic this is. This is just feelgood stuff to make you forget he fleeced your wallet at tax time.

I hope Northcutt runs again. He will win.

Elliott (Kojak) may have a slick head but his butt is dead.
        He will not be relected.

        • Francis Ripp | March 26, 2019 at 12:02 pm |

Elliott the TAX MAN thinks he can get away with anything if he can involve the schools. Sorry ass politician, we need public servants.

      • Wow Chris lied big time to us all!!! Never forget what a slime he is. DUI too. Didn’t have to go to court. They let the tax man drink and drive.

      • If you cant see elliott is a snake youre dumb

I have put my home on the bay for sale. Tired of seeing garbage and human waste on the shore. It happens too much now. We haven’t fished in over ten years. Even if we caught something we couldn’t eat it. I hope Fairhope folks are happy with what you created. 15 years ago Fairhope when I moved here was nice and sweet. Now it is a nightmare. Keep telling everybody that it’s great in fairhope. Then do like me and put up a sign. Before we are stuck. God help politicians like the catalyst gang who put their own interests above that of the people. I see big problems ahead. Does anybody else see it? Meanwhile I am planning to move to TX. The new thing is planned towns and cities like Frisco maybe…good luck with the Christian politicians who lie to your face. Get rid of that fat baldheaded lying loser Chris Elliot! He campaigned at church only to lie straight to everyone’s face.

  9. anon poster | March 25, 2019 at 9:54 am |

What about the mega site deal Elliott and Dorsey and the county criminals pushed on us?
Remember that was like fifty million or so.
Baldwin County better wake up. The county is exploding with people and service demands are gonna go up big time. Y’all think the county workers can hanggg?
    Doubt that!!!

  10. So Fairhope is at the proverbial cross road. Which way will it go? I say it is too late and it will soon be a crime-infested haven for low rent losers from Bham and Montgomery. The eastern shore has been invaded. It is incredible. The number of shady cars driving around is scary to say the least. I just want us to be Mayberry again! It’s scary. I never thought of Fairhope as a big city but that’s what we are now. So much hassle. I want to go back!

  11. I heard Fairhope is getting two more roundabouts.
One will have a liquor store attached. The other a convenience store/cash checking spot.

    • This is progress for Catalyst. As more people move in that donot have roots here and do not care, the voices of us “locals” will be drowned out. This is the price we will pay for being duped by the politicians owned by Cox and Stacey.
So many uninformed people actually bought the “Christian Conservative” label.
It is too late for this area. May certain people burn in Hell for their actions
