Baldwin County must move forward of the Catalyst mindset of the good ole boys. The County is changing at such a pace that municipalities and the county commission must work in sync. Corruption does not allow that to happen.
Elliott is the Catalyst Candidate while David Northcutt is the Peopleโs Choice. Elliott lost the primary, votes against him easily showing he was not trusted or the choice of the voters. Jeff Boyd came in third and now is the sleeping giant. Boyd has yet to endorse Northcutt and hell will freeze before he supports Elliott. No love is lost between Gulf Shores Orange Beach and Elliott, so it is very promising that those Jeff Boyd voters will support Northcutt, the peopleโs choice.
Jeff Boyd voters please vote in the run off. July 17th for David Northcutt.
Fairhope nothing will change under the rule of Catalyst and losers. Living in the past is not an option.

Truer words have never been written. Why are the residents/voters here so ignorant of what is happening? So many brilliant and successful people live here but they just rock on with this destruction of Fairhope/Baldwin County. They are too busy paying the mortgages of the overpriced houses that they bought in the cookie cutter subdivisons. They think that just because they live in a house that is twenty miles east of the Bay that they can tell their friends that they are trying to impress that they live in Fairhope. Actually they are living in a former pecan orchard or cow pasture that they overpaid for the small lot. They are not as smart as they would want you to think that they are.
Just look at one of the big houses that is squeezed on a small lot that in an overpriced subdivision with a fancy name. Just because they have granite countertops and a two car garage doesn’t mean it is really worth what they are paying. Yet these people get in line to buy one of the toothpick houses just because they can pick out the color of the paint.

It is indeed more than sad that the people are so gullible and pliable. No one says anything. Everyone goes about their merry way. Meanwhile, the place they call home is being slowly transformed for the bad.

With another low turnout it will easily happen. If the vote is close they’ll say “2,000 people didn’t turn their ballot over”and fix it.

LowerALprophet, I wish you were wrong at saying this. But what can we do? The catalysts have the political offices in their lap and there is no end in sight of them over developing the area, raising our taxes so they can make more money, and put their friends in well-placed positions.
