NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL VACANCY
The Daphne City Council is now accepting resumes to fill the Council seat that was vacated on November 13th by District 7 Councilman Joe Davis, III. The City Council intends to interview applicants during a special-called meeting beginning at 6:30pm on December 10, 2018, in Council Chambers at Daphne City Hall.
In order to be eligible for consideration at said meeting, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen of at least 18 years of age, cannot hold any other public office except that of Notary Public, and must be a qualified elector of District 7 in the City of Daphne for at least 90 days. For reference, District 7 includes, but is not limited to the subdivisions of Timbercreek, Historic Malbis, and Canterbury.
Complete resumes with a letter of intent should be delivered to the attention of the Daphne City Clerk, Candace G. Antinarella, by email at [email protected], hand delivery at Daphne City Hall, 1705 Main Street, or by mail to P.O. Box 400, Daphne, Alabama 36526. The deadline to apply for the vacant seat is Friday, December 7, 2018, at 5pm.
