You may have not noticed, but the real estate market elsewhere is loaded with empty buildings, only kept for investment purposes. Much of it is owned by Chinese investors.
Zillow.com was buying up tons of houses, offering 20% over the asking rate, which in turn raised the values of the neighborhood and the other houses they purchased. They went too far and got in over their head. Blackrock swooped in and got a very nice deal on all those houses and the market…pumped. Probably a coincidence. And that’s the tip of the iceberg on Blackrock. They have a lot to do with the coming crash. Don’t worry, they will be ok. Too big to fail. In fact, they collaborate with hedge funds to make bank when it falls.
They haven’t raised the minimum wage to keep up with inflation whatsoever. And looks where we ended up. They continue to this day to pay people less than what they can survive on. Who do you think picks up the bill for that? Not the Walton family. Not every business that does the same. And…it pumps. And…you get to think you’re winning.
So, how long do you think this is going to last?
Longer than what was predicted decades ago with all evidence showing that the predictions are lining up? What bubbles can we come up with next? I own some bitcoin but I can see why it’s being accepted by the government. We need yet another bubble to keep appearances.

They will wait to zone after the Catalyst developers get ahold of the land. Then Catalyst will decide how they want it zoned. A subdivision here, another subdivision there, a strip mall here, and OH WAIT!!!! We need a school for all these new kids! OK, a school here paid for by higher taxes, and while we are at it, let’s drop another subdivision there. In no time we will have swallowed up Barnwell and are just outside of Foley.
