The Ripp Report has called on the Baldwin county Legal Eagle to dispatch the Eagle for a bird’s eye view of what developers do not want you to see. The Kant Corte Apartments on Fly Creek are busy clearing the property for the Apartments and their entrance and exit.
Highway 98 and Parker Road, is the most dangerous intersection in Fairhope, and has claimed 7 lives.
This intersection is going to be impacted by an additional 400 to 600 vehicles when the apartments are complete.
Sorry folks about being late for Wonderful Wednesday, which is now FREAKY FRIDAY but I have been in Facebook Jail for three days. The Ripp Report pushed someone’s button and they complained to Facebook who took us offline for three days to investigate the complaint. Catalyst has no sense of humor.

Notice to all citizens traveling on Highway 98 through Fairhope that cross the Parker Road intersection: LOOK FOR DELAYS, FOR YEARS.
Baldwin County has only one example of a state elected official, who received, and took action, on multiple complaints from the general public, related to possible election tampering. ONLY ONE, think about that!
Complaints have been filed in Baldwin County with the Alabama Judiciary about certain Judges, Michelle Thomason and Buddy Bracken, in particular. The Judiciary did nothing and the complaints continue.
Complaints have been filed with the Alabama Bar Association about numerous attorneys, Steven Johnson topping the list, nothing was done.
Fairhope’s Triangle, is Fairhope’s most valuable land asset. This vacant piece of land has been the focus of litigation, on and off for over 25 years. Ultimately, Fairhope purchased the land as part of the legal settlement, for 11.25 Million which included the legal fees of approximately 3 million. Estimated land value today would be between 18 and 20 million.
The Restore Act Money, from BP, started a stampede of political entities, State, County and Municipal, to go for all the money they could grab.

Fairhope’s Mega-Site is the Triangle property and just like the County’s Mega-Site, politicians have saddled the tax payers with the debt while satisfying a few good ole boys and select developers.

“While the State of Alabama’s total electorate ultimately denied Roy Moore from taking the oath of office as a United States Senator, the City of Fairhope and Baldwin County as a whole, voted for an alleged pedophile and a man twice removed for being unfit to hold office. It should be noted that the City of Daphne voted for the winner, Doug Jones, providing hope for the future. Alabama needs to move away from straight ticket voting.
First let me announce that no longer will the Ripp Report accept comments from Jester 666 and the Truth teller, most likely one in the same. Their comments add nothing to the subjects at hand and the personal attacks, some sexiest, will not be tolerated. Their comments are meant to distract from the subject at hand. They Do represent what is NOT needed in Fairhope or Baldwin County. They will continue to filter into the site from time to time and we will continue to eliminate them.
Fairhope politics has taken on a coup mentality. Mayor Wilson upset the apple cart of two political groups: Tim Kant followers, and Jack Burrell and his cronies, both supported by Catalyst. Kant followers have fallen off in recent years and Mr Burrell was assured by Kant he would be the next mayor, along with two others. Jack hedged his position by playing both sides to his benefit however mayor Wilson winning was not in the cards.
Fairhope has been cited for many national awards for its beauty. But, it deserves awards for more than just flowers. Placing a gas station located on a safety roundabout in a residential area on the city’s gateway, Fairhope Avenue and 13, only two blocks from three other filling stations/convenience stores, certainly will be an American oddity; and altogether deserving of an Onion American Planning award. This is so bad in terms of safety negligence that it even beats building a fire station on a dead end road (Parker); or having an open sewer line regularly discharge into Mobile Bay, along with all of Trip Pittman and Tim Kant’s expensive BP anchors.
